Introduction
Scraper evaporator, it is a new type of evaporator with strong adaptability, such as high viscosity, heat sensitive and easy crystallization, scaling materials are applicable. It is mainly composed of heating jacket and scraper, jacket through heating steam, scraper mounted on the rotating shaft, scraper and heating jacket inner wall to maintain a small gap, usually 0.5 ~ 1.5 mm. After preheating, the material liquid is added by the upper part of the evaporator along the tangential direction. Under the action of gravity and rotary scraper, the material liquid is distributed in the inner wall to form the underspin film, and it is continuously evaporated and concentrated in the process of falling. The liquid is discharged from the bottom and the secondary steam escapes from the top. In some cases, such evaporators can evaporate the solution and produce a solid product directly at the bottom.
Working principle
The scraper evaporator shell is provided with a heating steam jacket, which is provided with a rotating blade namely the scraper. There are two kinds of scraper: fixed type and rotor type. The clearance between the former and the inner wall of the shell is 0.5 ~ 1.5mm, and the clearance between the latter and the wall varies with the number of rotations of the rotor. The feed liquid is added in the tangential direction from the upper part of the scraper evaporator (also added to the dump tray coaxial with the scraper). Due to the action of gravity, centrifugal force and the scraping belt of the rotary scraper, the solution forms a film of backspin on the inner wall of the device, and is evaporated and concentrated in the process, and the liquid is discharged at the bottom. The evaporator is a single - way evaporator which uses external force to form film.
