1.Theory for multi effect falling film evaporator
Raw material will be distributed evenly in every evaporating pipe, at the function of gravity, flow downward form a membrane in the inner wall of evaporator. At the same time, heating steam will heat exchanged, so liquid membrane will evaporating under mostly any pressure, run in the same direction of secondary steam, so that accelerated liquid membrane flow speed, increase the effect of heat exchange and film formation, shorten the heating time, so it suit for heat sensitive material concentrated to a higher concentration.
In order to insure the wet state of film formation and improve heat exchange effect, in premise of fixed heat exchange area, increase the heat exchange length is the best way, this also why falling film is long and thin.
2.Processing Flow for multi effect falling film evaporator
The material which entered into the balance tank will pumped to the pipeline of the preheater though flow meter and right angle valve, after heating to evaporating temperature, the material will flow to the distributor of 1st Effect Evaporator and distribute into every evaporating pipeline evenly, then flow down along the wall with membrane state, the material start to evaporate by steam which comes from steam manifold and heater jacket. this is the first evaporation. the secondary steam produced run to bottom of the chamber together with material, enter into 1st effect separator at tangent direction, then secondary steam and material separated when rotating, raw material enter into separator at top the 2nd effect evaporator by pump though discharge tube.
Finishing the second evaporation concentration as the same way of first evaporation. And then, send to the top of distributor of the 3rd Effect Evaporator for concentrating as the same method.
Finally, the material will reach the required concentration and discharged by Outlet pump though bottom of separator, then do next process by discharge pump.
Saturation vapor enter into steam distribution cylinder from main branch( about 0.6-0.8kg per cm2 ),and then enter into 1st,2nd,3rd evaporator, condenser and relative four preheaters, for supply heat energy to the material. The secondary steam which separated from separator will be inhaled to condenser for cooling, the condensate will be pumped out by condensate pump as pre-treatment using or use in boiler.

The whole heating system of the equipment has the characteristics of high heat transfer efficiency and short heating time because of the uniform steam heating and liquid film type flow evaporation.
• because the material evaporates in each tube and the heating time is very short, especially for food evaporation and concentration, it preserves the nutritional ingredients of food.
The evaporator is suitable for foaming material evaporation, the liquid in the heating pipe is formed into film like evaporation, vapor liquid separation, while the bottom effect, most of which feed liquid is pumped out, only a small part of feed and all two steam enters the separator to strengthen separation, liquid whole process has not formed too much impact, to avoid the formation of the bubble.
• for food evaporation and concentration, the equipment can also have bactericidal function. The material is preheated before entering the sterilizer, reaching 94 degrees or more, and maintaining for 24 seconds or so, that is to enter an effective body. The material will flash quickly and the temperature will drop instantly.
The equipment can be equipped with CIP cleaning system to realize local cleaning. The whole set of equipment is easy to operate and has no dead angle.
The continuous automatic feed and discharge system of the falling film evaporator can be equipped with automatic system to achieve automatic feed quantity control, automatic heating temperature control, automatic discharge concentration control, automatic cleaning control, and protection measures for sensitive materials when sudden power failure occurs.
